Life Legacy

Elzora Evelyn Gilliam, 71, of Cabot, Arkansas died Monday, November 1, 2010. She was born June 9, 1939 to the late Emmitt and Evelyn Rees Sullivan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; one sister; two granddaughters, Ashley Nicole Ray and Kelley Michelle Ray; as well as her husband William Kelly Gilliam. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked at Timex for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, LaNan Ray of North Little Rock and James Gilliam of Jacksonville; one sister, Lillian Bass of Clinton; five grandchildren, James Eric Ray of Cabot, Kasey Carraway of Jacksonville, Trevor Gilliam, Taylor Glover, and Tabatha Gilliam all of Pleasant Plains; six great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 in the chapel of Moores Cabot Funeral Home. Interment will follow in The 16th Section Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 Thursday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Moores Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
