Biography

Charles E. Patterson, 80, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, August 19. 2012. He was born July 10, 1932 in Redfield, Arkansas to the late William and Lilly Patterson. Mr. Patterson was a longtime member of Victory Baptist Church in Cabot. He owned and operated Patterson Trucking for 21 years until he retired in 1995. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, a daughter, two grandsons and two granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty Bynum Patterson of Cabot; one son, Charles Elton Patterson of El Paso, Arkansas; one daughter, Donna Sanderson of Madison, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one brother, Lloyd Patterson of Redfield; and two sisters, Sylvia Holley of North Little Rock and Patricia Bailey of Horn Lake, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Victory Baptist Church in Cabot, with Brother Ben Leonard officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home chapel.
