Alice Lanell Morgan, 69, of Ward, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021.  She was born September 26, 1951 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to the late Robert Franklin Carter, Jr. and Barbara Jean Hay Carter.  Alice proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corps.  She was known as "the aunt who always stepped in to treat her nieces and nephew".  Alice will be missed by them and other family members and friends who knew her.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Michael Morgan and sister, Pam Hess.

Survivors include her sister, Robin (Thomas) Ridgeway; nieces, Amanda McKeever, Lisa Hatfield, Carla Panhorst and Mari Lou Hess; nephew, Robbie Hess; fur babies, Ebony, Cheyenne and Dobie along with many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at New Horizon Baptist Church, Ward, Arkansas with Brother Kevin Bernard officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
