Alice Sue Patton, age 78, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026 in Cabot, Arkansas. Sue was born August 16, 1947, in Thayer, Missouri, to Walter Oakley Cline and Margaret Ruth Cline. In her early years, she worked in radio, a field she enjoyed and excelled in, before transitioning into office management for the later part of her career. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.O. Cline and Margaret Cline; her brother, Jim Devault; and her sister, Margaret Standish.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Max Patton; her sons Brett Leonard (Bobbie), Blake Leonard (Angie), Cliff Patton (Laverna), and Neal Patton (Larissa); her grandchildren Braden Leonard, Brooke Shirley, Andy Patton, Mo Hobson, and Ian Patton; and two great-grandchildren.

A woman of strong faith, Sue was known as a prayer warrior, always lifting up others with compassion and steadfast belief. She served her community as a hospital chaplain and volunteered in her church's care ministries, offering support, prayer, and encouragement to those in need. She and Max were members of Searcy First Assembly of God before moving to Branson, Missouri, where they attended Grace Community Assembly. Sue and Max enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with family, building memories together throughout their life. She especially loved being with her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Sue lived her faith boldly and courageously—never ruled by fear, but guided by strength, love, and purpose.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Old Austin Cemetery in Ward.
