Anita Faye Weathers, 86, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022.  She was born June 3, 1936 in Lonoke County to the late Hubert and Mary Derden Morris.  Anita was a lifelong member of Mount Zion Church in Cabot where she served faithfully for many years as the piano player.  She was also a member of Woodlawn Senior Center.  Anita was an excellent cook and well known for her many delicious dishes.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Weathers; two sisters, Jolene Smith and Jettie Moore and one brother, Hubert L. Morris.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry Weathers (Diann) and Barry Weathers (Patti); four grandchildren, Roger Weathers (Nicole), Kerry Weathers (Heather), B. J. Weathers (Cindy) and Kasi Weathers-Staley (Chet); six great-grandchildren, Hope, Bailey, Landon, Bowen, Bryson and LillyAnn; special friends, Fred and Carolyn Staley, as well as many extended family members and friends.  She is already missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Mount Zion Church on Mount Tabor Road in Cabot with interment to follow at Glover Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
