Barbara Ann Blythe Pitts, 81, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020.  She was born February 26, 1939 in Little Rock to the late William V. and Clara J. Goforth.  Barbara proudly served her country in the United States Air Force.  She retired from her position as a telephone operator for the VA Hospital in Little Rock.  She enjoyed crocheting, gospel music, the Christmas season and Christmas decorating, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Barbara was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Cabot.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Myrtle L. Taylor and Lois L. Dillon; brother, John W. Goforth and grandson, Robert A. Blythe.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawn R. Blythe; son, James A. Blythe and wife, Melody; son, Robert W. Blythe and wife, Shelly; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Hettirachchy and husband, John, Daniel Blythe and wife, Felicia, Michael Blythe and wife, Christen, Darla Rutledge and husband, Patrick, Brandon Blythe, Brent Blythe and Brian Blythe; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Victory Baptist Church with Brother Ben Leonard and Brother Daniel Blythe officiating.  Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock.  Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
