Bennie Glenn Overton, Jr., 52, of Austin, passed away May 1, 2020.  He was born August 8, 1967 in Plattsburgh, New York to Bennie and Carol Sue Livingston Overton.  Bennie was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was a man with many nicknames ("Bo", "Panman", "Dad", "Papa Smurf", "Pawpaw", "Brother") and many talents.  When Bennie wasn't making fun of himself, or others, he was driving on the highways of the United States in his 18-wheeler delivering many of the critical supplies we all use on a daily basis.  After being on the road, sometimes for weeks, he always loved to come home, hang out with his beloved Belinda and other family members, watch movies in his recliner or yell at the Dallas Cowboys to win a game…that didn't always work for him or the Cowboys, but it didn't stop him from trying.

We know he is smiling because he is once again with the love of his life, his soulmate, his wife, Belinda "Bo" Overton, in heaven.  Bennie was ready for his wings, but our hearts were not. Drive on, Bennie…until we meet again.

He leaves behind one handsome son, Taylor Overton and two gorgeous daughters, Hailey Fogle and Haley Scott.  Also left to cherish his memory are his wonderful, loving mom, Carol Overton; his strong dad, Bennie Overton, Sr.; adoring sisters, Debbie and Tammy and carrying on his legacy are his six fantastic grandchildren, Sebastian, Faith, Xander, Mason, Remi, and Luella.  Bennie will be missed dearly!
