Bernice Willene Garrett, 89 of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024. She was born November 25, 1934 in Faulkner County to the late Norman and Donia Williams Garrett. Ms. Garrett was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Cabot. She worked in sales for Woolworth's Department Store and in accounts for Dillard's. Before retirement, Ms. Garrett worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide. She was an avid reader, especially Stephen King. She was a fan of Elvis Presley, Star Trek and Star Wars. Ms. Garrett stayed busy, but always had time to love her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Guess and brother, Richard Garrett.

Ms. Garrett is survived by her daughter, Susan Burgess (Darin McNeil) of Jacksonville and granddaughter, Alexandra Burgess (Christopher Allen) of North Little Rock as well as extended family and friends.
