Betty Kathleen Burton, 90, of Cabot, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Monday, July 29, 2024.  She was born August 12, 1933 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Edward and Emma Aden Heifner.  Betty attended McArthur Assembly of God Church until her health prevented her attendance. She and her sister, Margaret, both played the accordion, sang together on a Christian radio program and were very musically inclined. Betty was full of personality and very outgoing.  She was the best mother to her daughters, Gina and Janet.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Garland L. Burton; sister, Margaret Pigg and brother, Kenneth Heifner.

Left to cherish her memory and to miss her so much are her daughters, Gina Burton and Janet Hutton (Patrick), as well as many friends.

There will be a small gathering of family and friends at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2024 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
