Betty Jean Russell, 82, of Ward, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022.  She was born September 25, 1940 to the late Herbert Delmer and Agnes Ruth Brightwell Kennon.  Ms. Betty was a member of Cabot Church of Christ for over fifty years.  She enjoyed sports, quilting and sewing, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Allen Russell; son, Mark Daniel Russell; grandson, Stephen Russell and brother, B. C. Kennon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, William Stephen Russell (Tuesdi), Deborah Kathryn Wallace and James Allen Russell (Barbara); grandchildren, Brock Wallace, Ally Wallace, Kaitlin McCann (Kyle), Jared Russell, Chance Russell, Megan Copeland and Dana See; six great-grandchildren,  as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Brother Chuck Ball officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
