Betty Genece Kelley, 84, of Cabot, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. She was born August 19, 1937, in Cabot, to the late Richard and Thelma Besancon Nails. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Jo Ann Badger and great-grandson, Aidan Finney.

Betty had an unwavering faith and loved the Lord. She was a homemaker, and her family was everything to her. Her testimony is one of devotion to her family and she cultivated the importance of coming together as a family unit in her children and grandchildren ( without fussing or fighting .) Throughout the years as an Air Force wife, Betty lived in many places and often spoke with fond memories of living in Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching her children and grandchildren play ball. She also loved cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Later in life, she loved playing Uno, solving crossword puzzles and doing word searches.

Betty is survived by her children, Michael Kelley, Kimberley (Jackie) Davis and Karen Wright; seven grandchildren, Tara, Staci, Brooke, Kelsey, Evan, Todd and Alex; twelve great-grandchildren, Carter, Weston, Kellan, Payton, Elanoire, Logan, Ryley, Margot, Adeline, Daylen, Abigail and Eisley; brother, Richard "Bub" Nails, Jr., and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Both services will be in the Chapel at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Brother Stephen Dickinson officiating.
