Betty Dean Lassiter, 84, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023.  She was born September 26, 1938 in Durant, Oklahoma to the late Leonard Luther and Gladys Ava Davis Jones.  Ms. Betty was a member of McArthur Assembly of God.  She enjoyed art, music, traveling, animals and birds.  Ms. Betty loved her time as a military wife and while she was President of the Officer's Wives Club, she served tea for Lady Bird Johnson.  She loved her tea time with her grandchildren.  Ms. Betty was a generous lady and donated her time and money to many worthy causes.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Alan Lassiter.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of sixty-four years, Everett Lassiter; children, Paul David Lassiter (Sharon) of McKinney, Texas, Janet Elaine Lassiter Warner (Keith) of Cayuga, Indiana and Angela Laureen Lassiter Kremers of Cabot; grandchildren, Kellie Eastham, Jennifer Hawks, Erika Yates, Lance Warner, Andrew Onermaa, Olivia Onermaa, Paul Lassiter, Phillip Lassiter and Nicholas Lassiter; eight great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Dr. Keith Warner officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.  If you would like to make a donation in memory of Betty Dean Lassiter, the family suggests Alzheimers Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or by going to their website at www.alzark.org .
