Betty Jane Rhodes, 88, of Cabot, passed from this life Friday, February 16, 2024. She was born January 20, 1936 in Frost, Texas to the late Nathan and Era (Dortch) Rawlings. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husbands, Jim Watson and N.E. Rhodes. She was a longtime active member of Cabot Church of Christ. She never met a stranger and was well known for sending cards for any and all occasions, as well as preparing care packages for those going through hard times.

Survivors include her daughters, Denise Sharp (Greg) of Austin, Donna Sharver of Cabot; grandchildren, Brady Sharp (Brittney) of Fayetteville, Kevan Sharp (Ashley) of Fayetteville, Brandon Sharver (Brittney) of Benton, Brittany Gibson (Jesse) of Hot Springs; Briana Sharver of Benton, Bailey Sharver of Hot Springs Village; great grandchildren, Finley Sharp, Tucker Sharp, Stella Jane Sharp, Maddy Gibson, Scarlett Gibson, Jesse James Gibson, Addy Sharver and Cyrus Sharver. Other survivors include siblings, Bobby Rawlings of Waco, Texas, Melba Cofield of Princeton, Texas, Alice Fleming (Jim) of Anna, Texas, Kenneth Rawlings (Dorothy) of Waxahachie, Texas, along with a host of extended family and dearly loved friends.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Cabot Church of Christ. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memory of Betty Rhodes to Cabot Church of Christ.
