Billy Gene McKinney, 59, of Searcy, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022.  He was born January 23, 1963 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Chester and Dortha Cockrell McKinney.  Billy enjoyed shooting, fishing, his horses and being outdoors.  He loved and enjoyed being with his family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Edmonson and his brother, Robert McKinney.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Yvette McKinney; sons, Billy Joseph McKinney, Corey Wilson (Jennifer) and Ethan McKinney (Danielle); several grandchildren; siblings, Martha Wank, Gary McKinney and Terry McKinney (Sarah); nephew, Cooper McKinney, as well as many other extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022 in the Family Life Center of Downtown Church of Christ, Searcy with Brother Reagan Shearer officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Flowers are greatly appreciated, but if you wish to make a donation in memory of Billy McKinney instead, please consider Unity Health Foundation, 1200 E.
