Billy Louis Rogers, Sr., 81, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020.  He was born September 18, 1938 in Yazoo City, Mississippi to the late Woodrow Wilson and Mary Eva (Sanders) Rogers.  Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was a devoted husband, loving father and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Rogers; grandson, Chris Robertson; step-father, Ferris Sanders; sister, Debbie Sanders and brother, Wilmer Rogers.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Cynthia Traylor of Cabot, Teresa (Don) Hawkins of Harrison and Billy (Sara) Rogers, Jr. of Cabot; five grandchildren, Jake, Chelsea, Lance, April and Amanda; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Rogers Smith of Yazoo City, Mississippi; brother, Jimmy Rogers of Menden Hall, Mississippi and several nieces and nephews.
