Obituary

Bobbie Dean Stanley, 92, of Cabot, moved her residence to heaven on Monday, December 12, 2022, where she has met her Lord and Savior face to face.  She was born August 21, 1930 in Cabot.  Bobbie had a long and full life. She was an Arkansas native, but moved to California in her 20's. That is where she met and married her husband William Stanley.   Three years later they welcomed their only child, Denise.  Her life was dedicated to her Lord and Savior, raising her daughter, her family, and the occasional Tupperware or Home Interior party. Family was a huge part of Bobbie's life. She was the oldest of eight children and felt they all needed to know, she was boss.

Sunday dinners were always spent with her parents, siblings, and extended family.  Bobbie was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. She could strike up a conversation at a grocery store, or a yard sale and from that, develop a friendship. Bobbie was active in her local church wherever she resided. This continued until her health declined in later years. One of her greatest joys was the birth of her granddaughter, Amber. She spent countless hours with her, doing things like going to garage sales on Saturday morning, and then on to Billy Bob's for strawberry shortcake.  Amidst all the fun, she never failed to teach her granddaughter about the love of God, as well as the joy of singing Gospel music and hymns. One of her regrets in life, was that her health declined before she could spend the same amount of time with her great grandsons, Kobey and Kasen.  She has known joy and happiness, sorrow and pain in her 92 years. Her suffering came to an end when the Lord welcomed her home.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stanley; parents, Oscar and Katie Dean; grandchildren, Tara Garland and Richard Garland; sister, Cora Guess and brother, Leland Davidson.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen Denise Hatfield (Leland) of Cabot; granddaughter, Amber Hines; two great-grandchildren, Kobey and Kasen Hines; three sisters, Marcine Stutzman (Douglas), Phyllis Dean and Sharon McQuaid (Timothy); two brothers, Dale Dean (Esther) and Michael Dean, as well as many extended family members and friends.
