Bobby Charles Mahoney, 77, of Cabot, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025.  He was born November 28, 1947 in Cabot to the late Willie (Bill) Andrew and Nina (Mary) Mae Staggs Mahoney.  Bobby retired from a career with Falcon Jet after twenty-five plus years.  He was a faithful board member of Russell Chapel Church of the Nazarene.  Bobby enjoyed being outdoors and could often be seen mowing the church property, fairgrounds and King Cemetery.  He was always helping others in any way he could, whether it was family or friends. Bobby would ride his four-wheeler around the neighborhood checking on everyone.  He also enjoyed hunting and camping, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his wife, son, grandchildren and family.  Bobby was a loving husband, father, "Papa" to his grandchildren, brother and friend to all. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Terry Charles Mahoney; daughter, Pamela Deann Mahoney and sister, Geneva Bynum.

Those left to cherish his memory and miss him dearly are his wife of fifty-four years, Jamie Wilson Mahoney; son, Jackie Mahoney; granddaughter, Abigail Mahoney; grandson, Gavin Mahoney; brother, Tommy Mahoney; sisters, Patsy Taylor, Irene White (James), Peggy Zumalt (Steve) and Betty Rowe, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Russell Chapel Church of the Nazarene with Greg Armstrong and Gary Huffman officiating.  Interment will follow at King Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
