Brenda Gail Colbert, 70, of Searcy, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021.  She was born January 20, 1951 in Searcy to the late Willis Eugene and Alice Louise Coles Colbert.  Brenda had a forty year career with Land-O-Frost, ending her employment as a scheduler in 2015.  She enjoyed attending, anticipating and planning family reunions.  Brenda loved shoes and shopping and even taught Brandy about "good" jewelry.  She could spend hours watching John Wayne movies, especially "El Dorado".  Brenda was independent, stubborn and could even be known as bossy.    In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Carey, Elizabeth Brooks and Mary Cox and brothers, Michael, Bruce and Roy Colbert.

Survivors include her sister, Debora (Michael) Cherry; brothers, Donald (Linda) Colbert and David (Connie) Colbert; niece, Brandy Cherry and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Reverend James Graham officiating.  Interment will follow at Monk Cemetery.  The family suggests donations in memory of Brenda Colbert be made to National Kidney Foundation, 1001 Craig Rd., Suite 480, St. Louis, MO  63146.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
