Brenda Louise Lunkwitz, 78, of Hot Springs, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026.  She was born January 23, 1948 in Ohio to the late Walter and Mary Elizabeth Bowman Hale. Brenda lived and worked in Dallas, Texas for thirty-seven years before moving to Arkansas. During her career, she was an administrator for a medical group in Dallas. She enjoyed reading, traveling and camping, mostly at Greers Ferry Lake, and she was a fabulous cook. After their retirements, she and her husband, Tom, decided to move to Arkansas to be able to enjoy their love of camping and the outdoors. Brenda will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Benedict and sister, Connie.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tom; son, Alex Crowder; six grandchildren, Denver, Madison, Brooklyn, Aspen, Talyn and Braile; five great-grandchildren and her brother, Walt Hale.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
