Brian Allen
Nyhuis
Feb 17, 1971 — Jun 10, 2026
Brian Allen Nyhuis, 55, of Cabot, passed from this life Wednesday, June 10, 2026. He was born February 17, 1971 in Pine Bluff to Bruce Jay Nyhuis and Millie Crabtree Nyhuis. Brian was the most giving and selfless man. He chose to give of his talents to the field of nursing, dedicating his time and his life towards caring for and helping others full-time.
Among his work, he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with his friends and family. He loved to cook and grill, gathering the people he loved the most all together at his home and just be in his company.
Above all, Brian loved his family. He was always there when anyone needed him. Whether he was giving someone a ride, helping fix a home issue, or just talking out the problems of life, he was always willing to lend a helping hand or an ear, especially to his kids and his mother.
Brian lived a beautiful life with his family and friends. There was nobody like him and his love will always be with us. Though the journey without him here will be painful, we have hope in Christ Jesus that we will join with him again, gathering in his heavenly home cooking, grilling, laughing, and being with each other again.
John 14:1-3 - "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Jay Nyhuis. Brian is survived by his mother, Millie Patsch; step-mother, Judy Nyhuis; children, Lacey Soderling (Austyn), Chase Nyhuis (Tamara) and Ashlyn Nyhuis; grandchildren, Mac Soderling, Myles Soderling, Jude Pierce and Welles Pierce; siblings, Bruce Nyhuis (Nichole), Sara Patterson (Jason), Tara Haubein (JR) and Nikki Pierce (Brad); step-sister, Julie White (Brandon); nieces and nephews, Stone Patterson (Kara), Matia Reasons (Dusty), Ethan (Bre) Nyhuis, Raelyn Haubein, Brayden White and Jacob White; grandnieces and grandnephews, Buck Patterson, Belle Patterson and Denver Nyhuis.
