Clarence E. (C. E.) Cochran, 96, of Cabot, passed away peacefully at Chambers Nursing and Rehabilitation in Carlisle on September 9, 2022.  He was born September 24, 1925 in Lonoke to the late Clarence E. and Rotha Cochran.  C.E. was the owner of Cochran Trucking Co. until his retirement.  He  loved to travel and see new places.  One of his greatest joys was hunting and fishing with his son, Tony. C.E. never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand anyway he could.

C.E. is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nell Cochran: son, Tony (Jo) Cochran of Lonoke; grandchildren, Kelly (Amanda) Beard of Roanoke, Texas, Toby Cochran of New Boston, Texas, Jody Cochran of Beebe, Arkansas and Tonya Cochran of Cabot, Arkansas; two step-grandchildren, Zack Eaves (Jami) of Lonoke; six great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of friends and other family members.
