Carl William Rial, 86, of Cabot, passed away June 2, 2023.  He was born September 21, 1936 in Monticello to the late Vance H. and Edna Fredrickson Rial. Mr. Rial was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Clara Uhrich Rial. Mr. Rial served his country, first in the United States Navy and later in the United States Air Force, as a meteorologist. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. He continued working in civil service as a carpenter and woodworker until 2009. Mr. Rial was of the Pentecostal faith, a hard worker, wonderful husband and provider. He loved his sisters very much, but he loved the Lord with all his heart. In addition to his parents and his wife, Clara, Mr. Rial was also preceded in death by his step-daughter, Pamela (Guess) Perez.

Mr. Rial is survived by his sons, Stephen Rial, Daniel Cory Rial and Roger Tyrone Rial; step-son, Arlon Guess; sisters, Rosa Milburn and Dorothy Plumlee; 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to Dr. Smith and Carl's entire care team at Stonebridge Assisted Living for the wonderful and personal care he received there.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
