Caroylin Lou Hutchins, 80, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday September 10, 2025. She was born February 6, 1945 in Benton to the late Joseph and Cathrine Patterson. She was very proud to have been a LPN-she only worked a short time before staying home to be a full-time mother, but she kept her license active for many years. After moving to Cabot, the family found a church home at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. She devoted herself to her family and her church family, teaching Sunday School for several years and participating in church activities. She worked as the cook at the church daycare where she could be off any time her girls were out of school. After her girls were grown, she enjoyed working as a court reporter and driving for dealer transfers. Caroylin loved gardening and watching birds, especially hummingbirds and blue birds. She made many great memories throughout the years camping with extended family, taking RV trips, visiting family, and traveling-she was always ready for the next trip. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey E. Hutchins, and her brother Lonnie Patterson.

Those left to cherish her memory and to miss her dearly are her children, Carol Hutchins and Audra Hutchins; honorary children, Cragg Henry (Deletha) and Dianne Goacher (Anthony); honorary grandchildren, Aaron, Shay, Ty, Joshua, and Matthew; sisters-in-law, Jean Ann Patterson (Dewey), Patsy Hutchins, and Geraldine Hutchins, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 15, 2025 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church with the funeral service beginning at 11:00. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
