Chad Arlen Hastings, 48, of Cabot found himself in the arms of Jesus Saturday, June 11, 2022. He was born April 9, 1974 in Sterling, Colorado to James and Renata Bretsch Hastings. Chad served his country in the United States Navy and later became an engineer and partner at Crist Engineering in Little Rock. He met the love of his life in 2005 and made the move from New York to Arkansas. After a 10 year date, he and Tammy married and he became a co-owner of Page & Company Dance Academy of Cabot. He was a member of New Life Church (NLC) in Cabot where he had served as part of the production team. Chad had many interests. He was a self-taught guitar and piano player. A master at mixing music, a huge Batman fan, an incredible chef and quick with dad jokes. He loved creating things with his grandchildren who he loved deeply and completely. He was selfless and giving and always encouraging those around him to follow Jesus and their dreams.

Chad is survived by his wife, Tammy Kerley Hastings; his parents, James and Renata Hastings; children, Jasen Page, Somer McClellan and Makenna Torres; siblings, Kathy, Julie, Brett, Brian and Sara; grandchildren, Carlton Lokken (Emmarie), Jayleigh Van Druff (Luke), Dylan Doss (Raigan), Madison Volner (Aaron), Shaylin Mathis, Tyler Johnsen, Torrance Johnsen, Layla Mathis, Gavin Page, Amelia McClellan, Aysa Torres, Rylee Jo McClellan and Everlee McClellan; great grandchildren, Braylon Volner, Emersyn Van Druff, Brayleigh Volner and Mabel Mae Lokken; his four-legged furry companions, Gracie and Daisy and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday at New Life Church (NLC) on Main St. in Cabot, with Pastor James Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
