Obituary

Charles Mayo Seay, 82, of Cabot, passed from this world on Saturday, June 18, 2022.  He was born January 31, 1940 in Oppelo, Arkansas to the late Emerial and Marnie (Lawson) Seay.  Charles proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1958-1962. He retired after 20 years of service from the Little Rock Fire Department as a captain.  Charles then served his country through the civil service at Little Rock Air Force Base from which he again retired after serving 15 years. He stayed active until the last few years of his life when dementia stole his memory.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Sue (Fallen) Seay and his daughter, Gayle Sue Seay.

He is survived by three daughters, Pattie (Mike) Emerson, Tonya (John) Allgood and Amy Maness; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Muriel (Gene) Branch and Ida "Rita" Stewart, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Mt.
