Christine Riedl Maxwell, 82, of Cabot, passed away May 30, 2021. She was born on March 10, 1939 in Toging am Inn, Germany to the late France and Theresa (Gillhuber) Riedl. Christine enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She was also phenomenal at cooking and would often spoil her friends and family with delicious treats, such as peach preserves and salsa. Above all, Christine positively impacted many lives both in her career and as a friend, sister, daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. It was truly a blessing to have such a loving and beautiful person in our lives for so long. She will be greatly missed by many.  In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Emile "Pete" Maxwell; children, Thomas Maxwell, Melinda Maxwell and Shirley McClain and her sisters, Berta, Terese, and Karmen.

Survivors include her son, Bobby (Chandra) Maxwell; seven grandchildren, Brian (Brittany) Maxwell, Drew Bailey, Bobbi Jo Bailey, Jonathan (Leah) McClain, Joshua (Skylar) McClain, Leann (Chris) Kret, and Whitney Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Colin, Brady and Brynleigh Maxwell, Noah and Rowan Kret and Charlee Kate, Harper, and Gunner McClain, and Elijah Moreland; sister, Curdula Wasching, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
