Christopher Gordon Rush, 54, of Ward, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025.  He was born August 5, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. Chris proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of Desert Storm.  After his military service, he began his career with Ben E. Keith Food Distributors and served in the capacity of food service sales.  The two most important things in his life were the Lord and his family.  Chris was dedicated and passionate about both.  In his church, he served in many capacities and had a special place in his heart for the youth ministry and outreach programs. Family was everything to Chris.  He loved his wife beyond words and he loved being a dad and granddad.  He was the best "Pops".  His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Chris enjoyed adventures and dogs.  He had an insatiable sweet tooth and was a Tennessee Volunteers fanatic.  He saw the bright side of every situation and famous for his "dad-isms" and dad jokes. Chris will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer Rush; four children, Brennen Rush (Tabitha), Braidon Rush (Courtney), Caeley Sanders and Hunter Sanders; three grandchildren, Rhett Peterson, Evelynn and Emelia Rush; mother, Teena Samples Rush; brother, Mike Allen, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025 at New Life Church on Main Street in Cabot.  A celebration of life service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
