Cleota Raney Woosley, 82, of Cabot, passed away March 20, 2021.  She was born November 21, 1938 in Black Oak, Arkansas to the late Walter and Frances Raney.  Cleota "Meme" spent the last forty-seven years living in Cabot. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, an employee of the Internal Revenue Service and retired from Lions World Services for the Blind. "Meme" was a beloved member of the Cabot Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her friends and family, baking, sewing and though she would not admit it, all of her granddogs and great- granddogs.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, David Joe Woosley, Sr. ("Bop"); her son, David Joe Woosley, Jr. and her grandson, Joshua Derek Rogers.

Cleota is survived by a daughter, Kim (Craig) Rogers; a sister, Chris Dale; a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Woosley Jones; four granddaughters, Raney Rogers, Rikki Rogers, Darya (Eric) Bontempo, and Shae (Carter) House.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.  Donations can be made in memory of Cleota Woosley to Cabot Church of Christ.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
