Dannie Lowell Vaughn, 76, of Ward, died Friday, November 4, 2022 at his home.  He was born April 2, 1946 in Egypt, Arkansas to the late Willis Henry and Allie Ray Reeves Vaughn.  Dannie was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and United States Air Force.  Dannie served three tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict with the Marine Corps then later enlisted in the Air Force, retiring at the rank of Captain.  After retirement, Dannie owned and operated Vaughn's Barber Shop in Cabot for many years.  Dannie enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars, was an avid reader, and enjoyed a good debate. In addition to his parents, Dannie was preceded in death by his siblings, Shirley Smith, June Hodges and Sammie Dowell Vaughn.

Left to Cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Mary Adams Vaughn, of the home; son, Danny and wife Tammy Vaughn of Quitman, and daughter, Sherry Ann Summers of Cabot; grandchildren, Shelby Summers, Dannie Lowell Vaughn, Sheldon Lee Summers, Gannon Shae Vaughn, Addie Lynn Vaughn; great grandson, Danny Lynn Vaughn; siblings, Willa Faye Gibson, Carol May, and Darrol Vaughn.
