Daphne Naill
Mobbs
Feb 20, 1966 — Apr 13, 2022
Our beloved Daphne Naill Mobbs passed away into God's glory after bravely finishing her five year fight with Ovarian Cancer on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the age of 56. She was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Russell and Jacqueline (Jackie) Naill on February 20, 1966. The world became a little brighter and surely a better place. A graduate of Pascagoula High School in 1984, Daphne was an honors student with an infectious spirit who then pursued a career as a dental hygienist and attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She graduated Salutatorian with a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 1989. Additionally, she studied Vocational Educational Master's Level Courses at the University of Southern Mississippi.
A multifaceted maverick and Jill of All Trades, Daphne pursued her passion as a substitute teacher for the Cabot, Arkansas Public School system, where she left a life time inspiration on many students and staff. She loved scrapbooking, cross stitching, playing Pokemon, and enjoying frequent family vacations to Disney World or sailing the open seas on family Disney Cruises. But, Daphne's biggest passion and dedication was to her family. As a dedicated Christian, she infused her values by her devotion to her loving husband and two wonderful children, inspiring them to always seek Christ's guidance in everything they do.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jackson Mobbs of Cabot, Arkansas; children, Anya Mobbs of Lincoln, Nebraska and Harrison Mobbs of Jonesboro, Arkansas; father, Russell Naill, Sr., of Pascagoula, Mississippi; brothers, Russell (Rusty) Naill, Jr., (Seung) of Korea, Robert (Gene) Naill (Kimberly) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; sister, Rebecca Hayes (Randy) of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, as well as nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
Daphne, we look forward to seeing you on the glorious streets of Heaven one day. We will never forget you, and will always cherish the memories. We will always remain 'Daphne Strong'.
Daphne firmly believed in the scripture. We take comfort in one of her favorite verses, Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Daphne Mobbs to Renewcabot.org for Summer Camp.
Visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Renew Church in Cabot, Arkansas, with Christian services immediately following. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
