Obituary

Debra Lee London, 68, of Weatherford, Texas, formerly of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away July 8, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. She was born December 1, 1957, in Brinkley, Arkansas, to the late John C. London and Jean Lillian Stevens. Debra was raised in De Valls Bluff, Arkansas, where she developed the strength, compassion, and resilience that would define her life.

She proudly served her country as an Airman in the United States Air Force, including an overseas assignment in the Philippines. Following her military service, Debra dedicated much of her career to caring for others as a labor and delivery nurse. She considered it a privilege to help welcome new life into the world, and her kindness and compassion touched countless families throughout the years.

Debra found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved journaling, capturing her thoughts, memories, and reflections. She also never passed up the opportunity to buy a lottery ticket, often saying with a smile, “You either win or you don’t—50/50 chance!” Her optimism and sense of humor brought smiles to those around her.

More than anything, Debra cherished her family. She delighted in attending her grandchildren’s performances, games, and activities, proudly supporting them in everything from the performing arts to athletics. Being “Grandma” was one of her greatest joys, and the love she shared with her family will remain a lasting legacy.

Debra was preceded in death by her father, John C. London; her sisters, Linda and Janet; and her brothers, Michael and Keith.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving mother, Jean Lillian Stevens; her sister, Liz Frawley; her brothers, David London and Ricky London; her daughter, Jennifer Moore, her husband, Randy, and their children, AJ and Bryce; and her daughter, Amy Lasher, her husband, Mike, and their children, Callee, Avery, and Imogen. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A memorial service celebrating Debra’s life will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 113 E. Walnut Street, De Valls Bluff, Arkansas. Arrangements by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
