Dewey "D.C." Clarence Harrison, Jr., 90 years, 11 months and 10 days old, of Ward, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.  He was born May 23, 1931 in Barney, Arkansas to the late Dewey Clarence Harrison, Sr. and Nancy Malinda Bates Harrison.  "D.C." loved gardening and watching things grow.  He also enjoyed cooking and building things.  In addition to his parents, "D.C." was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Bolin Harrison; sisters, Norma Lee Roach and Wanda Ball and brother, Franklin Harrison.

Survivors include his daughters, Connie Harrison, Elaine Thomas (Dalton), Terry Harrison, all of Ward; grandchildren, Christina Marler (Eric) of Beebe, Dennis Thomas of Ward and Lauren Bagley (Rider) of Beebe; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sisters, Linda Cook of Cabot and Eula Mae Moore of Mountainburg; brother, Leon Harrison of Cabot, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with interment to follow at Apple Hill Cemetery in Ward.  Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
