Dianne Lee Haywood, 76, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  She was born December 4, 1943 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late John Lee and Marjorie Lou (Oxner) Gardner.  Dianne was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Turrell School District for twenty-five years and elementary music in the Cabot School District for fourteen years.  She loved her many students over the years and taught piano lessons to many kids after school.  Dianne was a talented musician and used that gift in her church and also in her nursing home ministry in San Antonio.  She loved crocheting blankets for new babies of friends and family and loved Southern gospel music.  Most of all, taking care of her children and being "Gamma" to her grandchildren gave her the most joy.  In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her little brother, Gary Gardner.

Survivors  include her daughter, Kelly (Barry) Smith of San Antonio, Texas; son, Brent (Laura) Haywood of Cabot, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Caitlin Smith of San Antonio, Jackson and John Luke Haywood of Cabot; sister, Connie (Johnny) Kirk of Cabot; brother, Wyn (Maria) Gardner of Searcy and honorary son, Chuck Hamilton of Little Rock.

Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Cabot with Bro. Greg Hooper officiating.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
