Donald Gene Burnett, 77, of Beebe passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025. He was born December 20, 1948 in Cabot to the late Sam and Agnes Lucille Dean Burnett. Mr. Burnett loved the Lord and showed it by helping anyone he could. He was drafted into the United States Army and later worked as a brick layer, a profession he loved and that took him all over the country. Donald enjoyed being outdoors, mowing for neighbors and for the church. He and Jannie loved yard sales and flea markets and finding the best buys. In addition to his parents, Mr. Burnett was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Burnett and sisters, B.J. Andrews and Wanda Duncan.

Mr. Burnett is survived by his fiancé, Jannie Davis of Ward; his children, Chris Burnett (Roxanne) of McRae and Chris' mother, Debbie Daniel (Dave), Chad Skabronski, Jo Jo Skabronski and Cherry West, all of Searcy and Jodie Skabronski of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Eli Burnett, Amanda Puckett (Robbie), Tony Jenkins (Chelsea) and Ernest Jenkins (Sara); eight great grandchildren; siblings, J.L. Burnett of Alabama and Debbie Apple (Jamie) of Ward; brother-in-law, Bobby Duncan and sister-in-law, Janie Burnett. He will also be missed by his little angel, Jonathan, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2026 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Doyle Fort officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Springs Cemetery.
