Donna Clifton was taken home by her Lord and Savior on July 27, 2024. Donna was born December 2, 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Bruce and Harriette (Wright) Wilkins. Donna lived in Judsonia, Pine Bluff, and many years in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Donna grew up on Greers Ferry Lake where she spent many hours with her siblings, nieces and nephews. She was a 1980 graduate of Heber Springs High School. Donna attended college at (UCA) University of Central Arkansas in Conway and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.  She used this degree for 26 years teaching at Boone Park Elementary and Cabot Middle School before retiring. Donna had a heartfelt desire to prevent abortions and help young women who were pregnant make good choices.  She volunteered her time at Options Pregnancy Center in Cabot. Donna made a difference in many young women's lives and was touched deeply as they chose life for their babies. Donna attended Church at Liberty Baptist Church in Cabot.  She was also involved in a Zoom Bible Study Group with Lynne, her sister, and other ladies from several different states. These ladies made squares with scripture verses in their own handwriting and one of the ladies put the squares together to make a quilt that comforted Donna in many ways after her diagnosis with cancer. Donna married Kenny Clifton on December 20, 1997.  In the 26 years of marriage they loved their dogs like family, enjoyed riding their motorcycles, and spending time together. In addition to teaching school, she loved decorating her home and yard. In recent years, she loved growing flowers and vegetables.

Donna is survived by her husband, Kenny; sisters, Susan Turney, Janine Rector (David), Denise Bradley (David) and Lynne Stewart (Robert); brothers, Jimmy Wilkins, Tommy Wilkins (Staci) and numerous other nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews .Donna is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bruce Wilkins and a sister, Kathie (Wilkins) Schlem.

Funeral services for Donna will be 12 noon, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Committal service will be 3:00 p.m. at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.
