Dont'e Lamont Arnett, 23, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024.  He was born October 25, 2000 in Searcy, Arkansas to Lamont and Tammy (née Hawkins) Arnett. Dont'e was born in Searcy, but he grew up in Altus, where he made cherished memories during summer vacations in Cabot with his grandparents and family. After graduating from Altus High School in 2019, he started working at Fox's Lumber and then broadened his work experience at Walmart and had just been accepted and started at Southwest Technology Center to pursue his passion for aviation. Outside of school, Dont'e was not only a dedicated worker but also a loving brother who enjoyed spending time with his siblings, always ready to lend a hand. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors defined much of his free time, as he embraced every opportunity to explore nature and create lasting memories with his loved ones. Dont'e had a keen interest in video games, always curious about how they worked. His tech-savvy nature fueled his passion for understanding technology, blending perfectly with his adventurous spirit.  Dont'e was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Kathern Valdez and Carrie Arnett.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Lamont and Tammy Arnett; siblings, Deaira Hawkins, Kyra Arnett, Kashaun Arnett and Jarett Koehler; grandfather, Thomas Valdez; aunt, Ashley Kastner and uncle, Thomas Valdez.

Time with family and friends will be 12:00-1:45 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2024.  Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
