Doris Lee (Smith) Field, 88, of Austin, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021.  She was born October 25, 1932 in Augusta, Arkansas.  Doris spent her childhood years growing up in Augusta, but lived most of her adult years in Beebe.  She was regarded as a warm and loving mother and friend.  Doris was always willing to help others in their time of need and did so with a true Christian heart.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  One of her favorite pastimes was reading.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton G. and Laura Bell (Gosa) Smith; husband, Russell Field; children, Shelly Story, Gigi Crisco and Joe D. Secrest and brothers, Jesse, Joe, J.E. and Lynn Smith.

She is survived by her children, David Secrest and Kathy Secrest; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; brother, Louis Smith and numerous extended family members and friends.  She will truly be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Union Cemetery in Augusta.  Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
