Dorothy "Dot" Faye Frizzell, 85, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was born June 16, 1936 in Hampton to the late Larkin O. and Elsie Renfro Lockridge. Mrs. Frizzell was a member of First Baptist Church in Cabot and the "XYZ's" group. She was a Master Florist for 54 years and the owner of "Dot's Florist" in Cabot. Mr. and Mrs. Frizzell were active in the community and sponsored many events and youth sports teams. Dot was also a member of Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed camping and was always ready to travel. With the XYZ's she traveled to many destinations in the United States and abroad. Some of her major trips were to Japan, Spain, Hawaii and Canada and she also visited the Western Caribbean aboard a cruise ship. Beyond a doubt however, Mrs. Frizzell's greatest joy was her family. She was always eager to keep her grandchildren and great grandchildren for an overnight stay even into her 80's and always hosted the family's Christmas dinner in her home. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frizzell was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Frizzell and siblings, Sue Venable, Tommy Lockridge, Jerry Lockridge, Raymond Lockridge, Wanda McCurry and Patti Brents.

Mrs. Frizzell is survived by her children, Donna Glover (Bruce) of Cabot and Lindy Frizzell (Pat) of Memphis; grandchildren, Rusty Hart (Lindsey), John Paul Hart (Lauren) and David New (Kiwa); great grandchildren, Bella Hart, Oren Paul Hart, William Hoyt Hart, Paul Thomas Hart, Kaila New and Leona New and siblings, Becky Marks and Ricky Lockridge.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Bostick officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
