Dorothy Louise Trostel, 63, of Austin, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022.  She was born February 2, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Cleo Wayne and Ella Josephine Bailey Smith.  Dorothy was known for her sense of humor and love for her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Trostel and sisters, Edna Miller and Pamela Smith.

Survivors include her children, Melissa Trostel-Hall (James), Kelly Tanner (Matt) and Billy Trostel (Ashley); nine grandchildren, Seth, Kyle, Myles, Savannah, Emma, Collyn, Calyssa, Jordyn and Alanna; siblings, Barbara Mattock, William Smith, Cleo Smith Jr., Betty Bronkema and Dawn Spicer; best friend, Lynn Tanner, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.  Visitation will follow from 3:30-6:00 p.m.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
