Dustin (Dusty) Hicks Hankins, 47, passed from this life Monday, February 12, 2024, in Conway Arkansas. He was born November 3, 1976 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to the late Waylon Carl Hankins, Sr. and Carolyn Faye (Colbert) Hankins. Dusty was a jack-of-all-trades type of man and truly did know how to do almost anything. He wore many hats and had different names. To one, he was a husband, to some, he was a father, a brother, an uncle, a friend, a therapist. His favorite names to be called were Dad, Dusty Trail, Rusty Bucket and Pop Pop. Throughout his life he worked at many places and did a vast number of different things, but all were centered around his passion - helping people. He had a true heart for people, every type of person, and he loved being able to help. He loved fun, he loved kindness, he loved the Lord, and he loved his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents Waylan Carl Hankins, Sr. and Carolyn Faye Hankins.

Dusty is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Stephanie Hankins; two daughters, Emily Hankins, Hannah Alexander (William); two sons, Clay Hankins (Katie) and Jay Hankins; two grandchildren, Kennedy and William Jr. "Wessie" Alexander; sister, Carla Hill (Kenny); three brothers, Waylan Carl "Chip" Hankins Jr. (Glenn), Tommy Hankins (Sunnie) and Jimmy Hankins (Lisa) and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Memorials services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Beryl Baptist Church, 873 Main St., Vilonia, AR  72173.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
