Edna Marie
Blizzard
Apr 1, 1940 — Mar 2, 2024
Edna Marie Blizzard, 83, of Cabot, Arkansas, formerly of Midland, Michigan, passed peacefully from this life to her eternal life with Jesus at her home on March 2, 2024. She was born April 1, 1940 in Midland, Michigan to the late Wilber and Marion Devericks. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and was quick to tell everyone about Jesus. She was so excited to run with Jesus once she passed on from this world. Earthly words cannot describe the impact she had on the lives of those she loved and cared about. If you were one of those people you were truly blessed. There was never a person she met that would be considered a stranger after some time with her. Everyone who met her loved her, she was so full of life and love that it radiated from her very being.
Edna was selfless, forgiving, strong, hardworking, loving, caring, and an amazing role model. She was an angel on earth. We should all strive to become more like her. If she prayed for you in this life, which she did, just know she is still praying for you even now. That was one of her favorite things to do, read her Bible and pray for her friends and loved ones. Along with her parents, Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Fredrick Blizzard; sisters, Ida Pratt and Helen Klein; brother, James Devericks and two grandchildren.
Edna is survived by her children, Tony Tucker and Starrlynn (Wayne) Trent; brother, Willis (Gladys-deceased) Devericks; sister, Clara (Carl) Scholtheis; four grandchildren, Sadie Tucker and her mom, Tanya Tucker, Dakota (Ashleigh) Fair, Dillon (Kayla) Fair and Zach Trent and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind very special friends, Nina Trent and her church family from Caro, Michigan. She loved the cards and phone calls; they would always uplift her. Thank you to the hospice team who became family, she always looked forward to your visits.
We are sending you to Heaven with love mama. It's not goodbye, but so long for now. Xoxo
