Edward "Ed" Partee, 77, of Austin, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022.  He was born November 28, 1944 in Mountain View, Arkansas to the late Logan and Montie Kathileen Lancaster Partee.  Ed proudly served his country in the Army National Guard from 1968-1971 with an honorable discharge.  He enjoyed fishing, grilling and watching Razorback basketball.  He could do anything with his hands, such as working on cars or remodeling his rent houses.  He was always in Supervisor mode by telling you what to do and how to do it, but he would also give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  Ed had a keen sense for business as he owned two service stations in Little Rock and the Food Basket in Cabot.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Earl Partee.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty-six years, Nelda; children, Tonya Gibson and Brad Partee; grandchildren, Michele Mendenhall, Reed Barnett, Gabrielle Partee and Jackson Page; great grandchildren, Madyson Colvin, Jaxon Colvin and Remington Silas; siblings, Howard, Jerry and Curtis Partee, Kay Woody, Betty Cates and Mary Stigall as well as many extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 at Mount Carmel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12:00-1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
