Obituary

Eric George Eggers, age 71, of Austin, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. He was born November 20, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Earl and Sylvia Wallden Eggers. Eric proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from which he retired in 1993.  He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Brian Eric Eggers of Minot, North Dakota, Michael Shawn Eggers (Tara) of Austin, Arkansas and Kelly Lynn Eggers Tanner (Larry) of Cabot, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kayla Salwey, Zachory Eggers, Hope Eggers, Caleb Eggers, Logan Eggers (Laura), Kelsey Eggers, Brandon Chamblee and Seth Betts; great-grandchildren, Ellanor Salwey and Aurora Chamblee; siblings, Kurt Eggers of Amherst, Wisconsin, Chris Eggers (Cheryl) of Lodi, Wisconsin, Karl Eggers of Sarasota, Florida, Corey Eggers of Chicago, Illinois, Craig Eggers of Amherst, Wisconsin, Ellen Kornatowski of Chicago, Illinois and Elaine Lisitza (Gregory) of Skokie, Illinois, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 18, 2022 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, AR 72120.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
