Ethyn Samuel Loyd, 15, of North Little Rock, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023. He was born December 22, 2007 in North Little Rock.  Ethyn loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, video games, skateboarding and rodeo/bull fighting. He also loved singing in the shower.  Ethyn's best buddy was his sister, Kierra.  They even worked together at Caught Lookin' Farms. He had a special group of friends who were inseparable, Kierra, Rory, Big Rob and Lil D.  They called themselves the Gremlins.  He is already missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ethyn is survived by his parents, Jerry Loyd (Kim) and Sherry Loyd-Nielson (Heath); siblings, Braxton Loyd, Lauren Huntley Melendez (Juan) and Dusten Nielson; grandfather, Dee Doak (aka PawPaw D); grandmother, Kaye Hood (aka Nana); aunts and uncles, Monica Loyd (Jennifer), Melissa Loyd, Phyllis Conrad (Mike), Mark Hood (family), Sharon Roberts (Wes) and Donna Buys (Brandon),  as well as many extended family members and friends.  Ethyn was preceded in death by his grandfather, Doyle Edward Hood, Sr. and uncles, Doyle Edward Hood, Jr. and Ricky Hood.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.  There will be a gathering of family and friends for food and fellowship at 5:00 p.m., following the service, at 11124 Zajac Rd. in North Little Rock.
