Obituary

Eula Mae Flynt, 96, of Cabot, passed away February 7, 2021. She was born March 29, 1924 in Coy, Arkansas to the late Benjamin and Sammie Phillips. Eula moved to Chicago as a young woman and lived there for 22 years while working at Teletype Corporation. She moved back to Arkansas where she owned and operated Brown's Dairy Bar for 30 years. Eula was a workaholic that enjoyed the hard work required at the dairy bar, but equally enjoyed the customers she served as well. She loved all animals and would rescue any animal that showed up at her doorstep.  Eula played the drums in a band with her late husband, Charles.  They loved to entertain their friends at the Senior Citizen's Center.  She was a longtime member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Eula lived at the Greystone Nursing and Rehab Center for the last six years.  In addition to her parents, Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Flynt, four sisters and one brother.

Eula loved being surrounded by her family.  Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Brenda (Eugene) Lawson and Bobby (Sydney) Morris; brother, James Phillips; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

There will be a private service for immediate family only.  Memorial gifts in Eula's name may be made to the Cabot Animal Shelter, 2951 S. 1 st St., Cabot, AR  72023 or the Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 225 N.
