Eva Marie French, four years old, of Ward passed away Friday, June 3, 2022. She was born March 14, 2018 to Joshua Michael and Ashley Lynn Fontenot French. Eva Marie was our four year old diva. She fought a hard life of medical challenges. Her family and friends loved to see her smiling and laughing. We know she will be watching Minnie Mouse, football and her twinkling lights forever. Eva Marie was preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents, Michael Malham and Betty Atchley Malham, Kay Freeman (Roger) and James French.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Joshua and Ashley French; brother, Kenneth Drake French; paternal grandfather, Michael French; paternal grandmother, Michelle French; maternal grandfather, Lee Fontenot; maternal grandmother, Monica Fontenot; great grandparents, Ricky and Linda Istre and Andrew and Charlotte Fontenot; aunts and uncles, Shelly French Mclernon, Angelica Fontenot (Trevor) and Alexis Fontenot; cousins, Scott Fontenot, Jonah Mclernon, Caleb Mclernon, Jayspen Herbert, Rowland Fontenot, Ezra Mclernon and Khamil Herbert.

To all the medical staff and therapists who have worked with and cared for Eva, we give great praise and gratitude for your contribution in keeping Eva's light alive in this world.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and a Rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.
