Evelyn Pearl Boldin, 82, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020.  She was born October 12, 1938 in Urbana, Illinois to the late Raymond and Pearl (Evans) Drennan.  Evelyn was a long-term resident of Cabot having lived in the same place for forty-seven years.  She worked for Jane's Kitchen for many years.  Evelyn loved people and getting to know them.  Sometimes she did not know people by name, but she knew exactly what they ordered.

Evelyn was a sponsor of the Arvada High School Rodeo Club and a huge NASCAR fan (#18 Kyle Busch).  She worked word search puzzles and large jigsaw puzzles to occupy her time.  She would also tend her yard and flowers and grow vegetables.  Evelyn loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her beloved cat, Charlie.  She always welcomed everyone and would help anyone if she could.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Boldin and Captain Richard E. Boldin; granddaughter, Christy Cruz; great grandson, Matthew Boldin and siblings, Catherine Glasgow, Dorothy Blechneir, Wayne Drennan and Kenneth Drennan.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Master Chief John (Dede) Boldin, Wanda (Barry) Duncan and Loretta (Michael) Moody; thirteen grandchildren, Richard Boldin, Jr., Amber Boldin, Jerry Boldin, Jr., Matthew Boldin, Cody Boldin, Desirae Boldin, Ashley Boldin, John Boldin, Jr., Laura Duncan, Barry Duncan, Jr., Courtney Duncan, Bayleigh Moody and Max Moody; several great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2020 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Stubby Stumbaugh officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
