Evia Lucille Dean, 71, of Ward, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023.  She was born July 27, 1951 in Little Rock to the late Leroy and Clarine Toney Dean.  Lucille was a wonderful Christian lady.  She was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church and believed in tithing to her church.  She had a list of people she called to check on every Monday morning.  Lucille was a caregiver for many people for many years, including caring for her parents.  She loved her family.  Lucille will be remembered for having a sweet tooth and she loved being "kidnapped" by her family or friends for a dinner and shopping.  In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by five of her brothers, Clifford, Carl, Herman, Elmer and Roylea and a great-grandson, Silas Donner.

Survivors include her daughter, Clarine Rachelle Moomey and husband, Daniel of Mountain Home; grandchildren, Joshua Hankins, Britney Hankins, Christopher Moomey, Courtney Rosson and Kayla Moomey; one great granddaughter, Arianna Fant; brother, Ernest F. Dean; lifelong friend and caregiver, Henry Lang, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
