Faber O'Neal Vann, 96, of Cabot, passed away December 31, 2019 at his home.  He was born January 25, 1923 in Sixteenth Section Community to the late Tom and Winnie Sellers Vann.  Faber proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a World War II veteran.  He loved fishing, gardening, having his family at his house and horse showing.  He even taught his children and grandchildren how to ride horses.  Faber also enjoyed baseball and football.  He had a strong work ethic and was a wonderful family man.  Faber was the solid rock of the family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ethel Skinner, Pete Vann, Robert Vann, Elsie Jones and Lillie Mae Champlin.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of sixty-seven years, Artie Fay Vann; sons, Michael, Ronnie, David (Kimberle) and Timothy (Darla) Vann; ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Jim Edwards officiating.  Interment will follow at Sumner Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
