Flossie “Marie” Plouch, 86, of Cabot, passed from this life Sunday, August 9, 2026. She was born June 25, 1940 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Elmer I. Rose and Lois Maire Case Rose. Marie was a devout Christian and faithful member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot. She worked many years for JC Penney’s in North Little Rock. Marie enjoyed square dancing for many years and was a founding member of the Swinging Stars Dance Club in Cabot. She was also an active member of Eastern Stars. Marie was a devoted mother and grandmother, spending as much time as possible with each child and grandchild. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in her spare time, usually to visit children, grandchildren, parents, brother, or other relatives. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Orville Plouch and sister, Ilmer Ernestine Rose.

Those left to cherish her memory and to miss her dearly are her two children, Ronald Lee Plouch and his wife, Patricia and Tammy Lynn Bursott and her husband, Don; her brother, Royce Rose; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with interment following at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
